Our Group regards the reduction of environmental impact throughout the entire product life cycle as a critical issue. At our manufacturing sites, we are introducing energy-efficient equipment and streamlining production processes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We are also expanding the use of renewable energy to strengthen our response to climate change risks.
In the logistics field, we are promoting measures that combine greater efficiency with lower emissions, such as optimizing transportation routes and improving load efficiency. In addition, we are advancing the reuse of secondary materials and scraps generated during manufacturing processes, and by adopting designs that allow for easier dismantling and sorting, we are making effective use of resources while reducing waste. Furthermore, we manage water resources and the use of chemical substances appropriately to minimize environmental impact on local communities.
