Since 2021, Paramount Bed Group has been implementing a mangrove reforestation initiative called the “PB Mangrove Forest” in Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. We aim to contribute to society by accumulating utilizing a social contribution-based point program.

This initiative primarily involves the use of the "sleep points" earned through the smartphone app of our electric bed “Active Sleep BED” the one of the main B2C products in Japan. Users accumulate these points based on their sleep scores displayed in the app or by participating in surveys. Through this program, the number of mangroves being planted has been steadily increasing year by year. Currently, the project is expected to cover a total of 35 hectares with 75,950 mangrove trees, capable of absorbing and storing the equivalent of up to 33,000 tons of CO₂.

Moving forward, through reforestation efforts, we aim to continue contributing to global warming countermeasures, the restoration and preservation of natural environments, and the improvement of local residents’ livelihoods.
