Toward eliminating healthcare disparities in the ASEAN region, we launched a demonstration project to build and verify a system using remote medical DX technologies from Japan. This project introduces remote manufacturing technologies using 3D scanning, AI, and 3D printing in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, where specialized personnel are in short supply. Based on the hospital network we have built locally over many years, we will first promote social implementation adapted to the environments in Indonesia and Thailand. We will also expand in Vietnam and verify the potential to expand to other remote medical DX domains. Starting from prosthetics and orthotics manufacturing, we aim to build sustainable next-generation medical infrastructure where everyone has access to appropriate healthcare.
