To improve medical safety and reduce the burden on the frontline, we are working to expand the adoption of the Smart Bed System. This system uses bed-embedded sensors to link out-of-bed and sleep/biometric data in real time with electronic medical records and mobile devices. Through this digital sensing technology, we simultaneously reduce the risk of patient falls and tumbles and reduce the burden on staff who monitor patients. We support the development of safer, higher-quality medical environments by using technology to support optimal care.
