To contribute to solving issues in medical settings, we are accelerating M&A. By partnering with companies that have expertise in different domains, we are expanding our solutions from providing beds and fixtures to diagnostic and treatment support. In the cardiovascular field, we have brought two companies into the Group: HeartLab, Inc., which developed the RST® calculation program aimed at early detection of worsening heart failure, and Cardio Intelligence Inc., which offers an externally mounted pediatric ventricular assist device system. We will strengthen our cardiovascular solutions through diverse approaches and continue to support the maintenance and development of high-quality medical systems.
